Seagate Technology Holdings (NASDAQ:STX) reports fiscal fourth-quarter results after Tuesday's closing bell, and the stock has already done something its own guidance never promised: it's priced in a lot more good news than management has actually put on paper.

Back in April, Seagate guided Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $4.80 to $5.20 and revenue of $3.35 billion to $3.55 billion, with a $3.45 billion midpoint.
Wall Street's consensus has crept slightly above that, calling for roughly $5.04 EPS on $3.48 billion in revenue.
