Former United States President Joe Biden is back in the spotlight after newly released audio recordings appeared to reinforce key findings from former Special Counsel Robert Hur's 2024 report.
According to a special report by CNN, the recordings capture Biden discussing allegedly classified material, struggling to recall key dates and details, and speaking about documents he retained after leaving office as vice president.
The audio was released on Monday by the Oversight Project, an investigative initiative affiliated with the conservative Heritage Foundation.
The group successfully pursued legal action to compel the Justice Department to release the recordings. Although Biden's legal team initially sought to block their publication, it later withdrew its challenge.
