رسانههای نزدیک به حکومت و شماری از مقامهای جمهوری اسلامی در روزهای اخیر بار دیگر بر اجرای قانون حجاب اجباری و برخورد با زنانی که از این قانون تبعیت نمیکنند، تأکید کردهاند. همزمان روزنامه «همشهری» با انتشار گزارشی، از قوه قضاییه و نیروی انتظامی خواست با آنچه «هنجارشکنی» و «بدپوششی» خوانده، برخورد کنند.

State-affiliated media and several Islamic Republic officials have recently re-emphasized the enforcement of mandatory hijab laws and action against women who do not comply. Concurrently, the Hamshahri newspaper published a report calling on the judiciary and law enforcement agencies to crack down on what it termed “norm-breaking” and “improper dress.”
Hamshahri, which is affiliated with the Tehran Municipality, referenced widely circulated videos of women without the mandatory hijab on Kish beaches, in recreational centres, shopping malls, and at certain cultural events. The outlet described these instances as “cultural de-modestisation” and claimed that some of them might be part of an “organised project” designed to undermine Islamic values.
Pointing specifically to videos from Simorgh Beach in Kish, fashion shows, mixed-gender gatherings, concerts, and changing attire patterns in public places, the newspaper urged prosecutors and law enforcement agencies to intervene and confront individuals who, in its view, violate mandatory hijab regulations.
