Masters’ Union has launched a 16-month full-time Post Graduate Programme in Sustainability & Business Management, aimed at preparing professionals for the growing demand for sustainability and ESG talent across industries. The programme has been introduced at a time when sustainability is becoming an integral part of business strategy rather than a standalone compliance function. The programme is open to graduates from any academic discipline with up to five years of work experience. Masters’ Union said students completing the programme will also have the option to pursue a joint one-year master’s degree at IE New York College, enabling them to earn two postgraduate qualifications in two years. The programme is scheduled to start in August.Along with subjects such as carbon accounting, climate-risk assessment and decarbonisation strategies, students will also study financial modelling, go-to-market strategy, revenue design and business execution to help build commercially viable sustainability solutions.During the course, students will work on assignments such as developing sustainable business models, designing carbon-neutral policy frameworks, creating ESG strategies, building circular economy ventures and preparing BRSR-aligned sustainability reports for simulated listed companies.A key component of the programme is the Venture Lab, where students will have the opportunity to conceptualise, build and validate climate-focused business ideas while still enrolled. Pratham Mittal, Founder, Masters’ Union, said the newly launched programme aims to prepare graduates who can help organisations integrate sustainability into everyday business decisions while also creating new opportunities for innovation and growth. The programme will also provide students with opportunities to learn from industry practitioners working across sustainability, climate finance, technology and policy. Faculty and mentors include professionals associated with organisations such as the World Bank, NASA, Samsung and Ather Energy. As part of the curriculum, students will participate in an international immersion programme, visiting global sustainability and climate-finance ecosystems, including institutions associated with the United Nations, Rabobank in Amsterdam and smart-city initiatives in Singapore.Published on July 28, 2026
