Russian forces are attempting to push forward in the border area of Ukraine's Kharkiv region, near the village of Artilne, advancing toward Ivashchyne.
Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for Ukraine's Joint Forces Task Force, confirmed the development in a comment to Ukrinform, responding to reports by the DeepState analytical project about Russian advances near Artilne.
"Yes, there is an attempted incursion in the border area, roughly in the direction of Ivashchyne," Trehubov said.
He added that Ukraine's Defense Forces are working to contain the attack and eliminate the enemy forces.
