PayPal Holdings Inc.
(NASDAQ:PYPL) stock rose about 2% in Tuesday's premarket session after the company reported second-quarter 2026 results that beat Wall Street estimates on revenue and earnings.
The reported acquisition interest from private equity firm Advent and payments company Stripe also remains in focus for investors.
The payments company, which owns Venmo, reported revenue of $8.68 billion, up 5% year over year and ahead of the analyst consensus estimate of $8.47 billion.
Adjusted earnings came in at $1.38 per share, topping estimates of $1.28, according to Benzinga Pro.
