The awards show will take place in Spain for the first time.
Premios Juventud has unveiled its 2026 nominations with Carín León leading the pack with nine nominations. He’s closely followed by Beéle, Kany García, and Rauw Alejandro with seven nods each.
León is up for the coveted Premios Juventud male artist of the year and album of the year for Palabra de To’s (Seca), which peaked No. 10 on Billboard’s Top Regional Mexican Album chart in 2024 and won the 2025 Latin Grammy for best contemporary Mexican music album. The Música Mexicana superstar is also up for my favorite track with “Me Está Doliendo” in collaboration with Alejandro Fernández and best tour with his De Sonora para El Mundo trek.
Other top nominees this year include Eladio Carrión, Farruko, Karol G, Manuel Turizo, Ovy on the Drums, Quevedo, Romeo Santos, Shakira, and Xavi, with six nominations each.
This year’s youth awards show will be held for the first time in Europe on Sept. 3 at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella, Spain, following its past editions in Miami, Puerto Rico, and Panama.
