PHOTOS: Ol Kalou MP-elect Samuel Ngotho boards matatu to Parliament for swearing-in
Samuel Kamau Ngotho, the newly elected Ol Kalou MP, broke with political tradition by taking a matatu to his swearing-in ceremony at Parliament Buildings.
In a video shared on his official TikTok account, the first-time lawmaker was seen boarding a public service vehicle alongside ordinary commuters.
Dressed in a sharp suit and wearing a relaxed smile, Ngotho blended in with fellow passengers, choosing to hop into the front seat.
"On our way to Parliament for the swearing-in ceremony. Grateful to God and the people of Ol Kalou for this honour," he captioned the video, which quickly went viral and earned praise on social media for his humility.
