Nifty 50 is managing to hold higher after the strong rise on Monday. It is currently trading at 24,014 marginally up by 0.07 per cent. The advances/declines ratio is at 29:21. This will need a close watch during the day. If it turns in favour of the declines, then Nifty may give back the gains. We will have to wait and watch.Nifty 50 OutlookNifty has cluster of resistances in the 24,050-24,100 region. So, a decisive break above 24,100 is necessarily needed to go further higher towards 24,200. Failure to rise past 24,100 will keep the downside open to see 23,900-23,870 during the day.It is a wait and watch situation now.Nifty 50 FuturesThe Nifty 50 July Futures (24,010) are marginally down by 0.07 per cent. They are coming down after testing its resistance at 24,050.An intraday dip to 23,950-23,900 looks possible during the day. We expect the contract to sustain above 23,900 and reverse higher again. Such a reversal can take it back up to 24,050 or 24,100.In case the contract beaks below 23,900, then an extended fall to 23,800 can be seen.Trade StrategyTraders can wait for dips. Go long at 23,940 and 23,910. Keep the stop-loss at 23,870. Trail the stop-loss up to 23,960 as soon as the contract goes up to 23,990. Revise the stop-loss higher to 23,995 and 24,010 when the contract touches 24,015 and 24,025, respectively. Exit the longs at 24,040.Supports: 23,900, 23,800Resistances: 24,050, 24,120Published on July 28, 2026
