Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has issued a passenger advisory after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast inclement weather in the airport's vicinity. Parts of the national capital witnessed rainfall on Tuesday, with the weather department predicting continued wet conditions throughout the day. However, flight operations at the airport are currently running normally. IMD forecasts cloudy skies with moderate rain The weather office has forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall across the capital. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall is expected to persist through the morning, forenoon, afternoon, evening and night, indicating sustained wet conditions throughout the day.— DelhiAirport (@DelhiAirport) Delhi's maximum temperature is expected to settle around 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to hover near 24 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels are expected to range between 75 and 80 percent, adding to the muggy conditions accompanying the rainfall. Flight operations currently unaffected Despite the adverse weather conditions in and around the airport, flight operations remain normal at this time, according to the advisory issued by IGIA. Ground teams coordinating with stakeholders Airport authorities stated that on-ground teams are working closely with all stakeholders to ensure passengers experience a smooth and uninterrupted journey, even as rain continues to affect parts of the city.
