Six more Ukrainian children have been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to Ukrainian government-controlled territory.
Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin announced this during a briefing on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Another six children have been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to territory under Ukraine's control. They are girls and boys between the ages of six and 17," Prokudin said.
He noted that the occupying authorities had subjected the children to pressure and attempted to strip them of their Ukrainian identity.
"Fortunately, thanks to the President's Bring Kids Back UA initiative and the Save Ukraine charitable organization, they are now safe and receiving the assistance they need," Prokudin added.
