Wolves striker, Tolu Arokodare
Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare is closing in on a loan move to Ajax, with the striker scheduled to undergo a medical in the Netherlands on Tuesday (today), PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward has been heavily linked with an exit from Molineux following the club’s relegation from the Premier League. Reports last week also claimed he was involved in a training-ground dispute after being informed he would not take part in a first-team session amid ongoing transfer negotiations.
He, however, denied the claim, claiming he was only fulfilling his contractual obligations.
Arokodare joined Wolves from Belgian side Genk for £24m last summer but endured a difficult debut campaign, scoring six goals in 38 appearances during the 2025/26 season.
