Kuwait Oil Co. (KOC) has signed a $16 billion lease-and-leaseback deal for its oil pipeline network with US investment giants Blackstone and KKR, and Canada's Brookfield, making it the latest national oil company in the Middle East Gulf to monetize energy infrastructure assets in this manner.
