Jay has delivered plenty of memorable performances throughout his Hall of Fame career: Carnegie Hall featuring a 40-piece orchestra, the 10th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt at Radio City, his Fade to Black “farewell” at Madison Square Garden, and opening Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in 2012, to name a few.
When Jigga announced the first two anniversary shows celebrating 30 years of Reasonable Doubt and 25 years of The Blueprint in March, there was an added layer of anticipation for Hov’s return atop the rap pantheon, while breathing life into a genre with a dearth of superstars rising to prominence in the 2020s.
