Edible Garden AG (NASDAQ:EDBL) stock surged more than 64% on Monday after the company announced a significant expansion of its fresh-cut herb distribution to Walmart Inc.

(NASDAQ:WMT) stores across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The stock has since pared those gains and is now trading flat.

The company said the new program will increase the availability of its premium fresh-cut herbs at Walmart stores across the region.

It also supports Edible Garden's strategy of strengthening relationships with national retailers while using its controlled environment agriculture (CEA) network to ensure a reliable year-round supply.
