MannKind announced the FDA approved an at-home furosemide self-injection for treatment of edema in adults with HF or chronic kidney disease.The furosemide autoinjector (Furoscix ReadyFlow) is approved to deliver a full 80 mg/mL dose administered in 10 seconds or less via abdominal injection with symptom relief beginning in 1 hour or less, according to a company press release.
