Visakhapatnam-based SV Entertainments has announced that it will install a specially designed Maha Ganapathi idol adorned with one crore bangles, under the theme ‘Sri Divya Kankana Alankara Maha Ganapathi,’ for the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations beginning on September 14. The idol will be erected at Sri Nagar in Gajuwaka.Mr. Ganesh from the SV Entertainments said that the concept symbolises devotion, prosperity and the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The idol, decorated entirely with colourful bangles, is expected to become one of the major attractions of this year’s festival in the city.The organisers said that this is in continuation of the tradition of presenting innovative Ganesh idols every year. Last year, the organisers had installed a 89-foot tall ‘Sri Sundara Vastra Maha Ganesha’, made of one lakh sarees, at the Lanka Grounds. Published - July 27, 2026 09:23 pm IST
