Dupilumab treatment was associated with improved bone growth and bone mineral density in children with eczema, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Among children aged 6 to 11 years who were below the 40th height percentile at baseline, 31.3% saw a 5 or greater percentile increase 16 weeks after initiating dupilumab (Dupixent; Sanofi, Regeneron).
