Russia was under pressure both before and after the "Russian Spring" of 2014, while since 2022, the West has been setting "records" in sanctions, President Vladimir Putin stated at a meeting with lawmakers marking the end of the eighth convocation of the State Duma (lower house of parliament).
He noted that, despite external constraints, the country is holding steady in the global tech race, and that the Russian financial system is currently stable.
Putin stressed that Russia will act prudently but resolutely on the battlefield and will certainly achieve its goals.
