Datavault AI Signs Darryl Strawberry as Brand Ambassador for NIL Vault (NILv)
Eight-time All-Star, four-time World Series champion, and 1983 National League Rookie of the Year will create original content for the Company’s patented name, image, and likeness exchange
Datavault AI Inc. (“Datavault AI” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: DVLT), a provider of data monetization, credentialing, digital engagement, and real-world asset (‘RWA’) tokenization technologies, today announced that Darryl Strawberry has signed as a brand ambassador for Datavault NIL Vault (NILv), the Company’s new and soon to be launched name, image, and likeness (“NIL”) exchange platform.
Under a services agreement dated June 23, 2026, Strawberry will create and deliver original promotional and marketing content, take part in promotional activity supporting the platform, and participate in revenue attributed to that content. Datavault AI will provide platform onboarding and operational support, tracking and attribution of NILv activity generated by Strawberry’s content, and revenue share reporting and payment administration.
Strawberry was the first overall selection of the 1980 amateur draft, won the National League Rookie of the Year award in 1983, and was named to eight consecutive All-Star teams from 1984 through 1991. He led the National League in home runs in 1988, hit 335 home runs across 17 major league seasons, and won four World Series titles, with the 1986 New York Mets and the 1996, 1998, and 1999 New York Yankees. The Mets retired his No. 18 in a ceremony at Citi Field on June 1, 2024. In the years since he stopped playing, he has become one of the more visible figures in addiction recovery, writing and speaking on the subject with his wife, Tracy, through their ministry.
