D-Wave and AT&T have signed an agreement to expand the use of D-Wave’s quantum computing technology for network optimization applications.
AT&T has used D-Wave’s annealing quantum computing technology in an optimization workload that reduced processing time from about one hour to less than 15 seconds.
The companies plan to explore additional applications including outage response, technician routing, network planning, traffic management, and potential quantum security use cases.
