As fuel costs escalate across the logistics sector, Engen’s role supplying all fuel for Truck Test 2026 underscores a shared commitment to helping South African operators understand – and improve – their efficiency where it matters most.
Engen, one of sub-Saharan Africa’s most recognised fuel and lubricants brands, has been confirmed as the official fuel and lubrication partner of Truck Test 2026 – the most ambitious extra-heavy commercial vehicle comparison event ever held in South Africa, and one of the largest of its kind on the African continent.
Organised by FOCUS on Transport & Logistics and running from 10-12 November 2026, Truck Test 2026 brings together 19 trucks from the world’s foremost manufacturers – including Daewoo, DAF, FAW, Foton, Hino, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Powerstar, Scania, Shacman, Sinotruk and Volvo Trucks – for rigorous evaluation under real-world operating conditions.
“We all know how important fuel efficiency has become. Every litre counts – and Truck Test is all about understanding how to use those litres most effectively,” says Charleen Clarke, editorial director, FOCUS on Transport & Logistics
