A sex-themed gambling website that was open to Ontario customers in apparent violation of provincial rules has shut down after an investigation by the Star and its international media partners.

The online casino, OnlySpins, had no Ontario licence but allowed customers in the province to place bets in order to earn explicit photos and videos. In mid-July, weeks after the investigation highlighted the site, a notice appeared on its home page, telling players it is “no longer accessible.”
