Consequently, he received a five-second time penalty, which dropped him to fifth place, having originally finished fourth but only four seconds ahead of his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc. However, footage from above Hamilton's helmet appeared to show him pressing his pit limiter button at the right time.‌"I've looked at this so many times and I can't work out why he gets a penalty,” Davidson said during the Sky Sports broadcast. “For me, he slows down sufficiently well.
