Ukraine launched overnight drone attacks on multiple regions across Russia, targeting the strategically important Rostov Sea Trade Port and what OSINT analysts identified as a state fuel reserve facility in Udmurtia, while also striking the border city of Belgorod. Analysis of videos published by local residents by independent outlet Astra indicates the main target of the attack was the Rostov Sea Trade Port. One drone also hit a high-rise residential building near the port, while fires broke out at a private enterprise, warehouse facilities and several residential properties, according to Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar. Several vehicles were damaged, and windows were blown out in an apartment building and a social facility. Slyusar said two people were killed and five injured in the attack. Although located on the Don River, the Rostov Sea Trade Port is part of Russia’s Azov-Black Sea basin and handles international shipping, including foreign-flagged vessels traveling to Black Sea and Mediterranean destinations.
