The main fire has caused an unprecedented "pyrocumulonimbus" - a huge fire thunderstorm fuelled by its own winds and lightning, the National Firefighters Federation of France said.Meanwhile in Spain, wildfires have burned out of control around Madrid, with evacuations carried out yesterday in the Valencia region. Around 15,000 people have been evacuated from the eastern coastal city, while more than 90,000 have fled from areas around Madrid and Ávila.
