Lawal also expressed concern about Tinubu's health, saying the president should focus on his well-being after completing his current tenure.
Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu underwent a significant change after relocating to Abuja to pursue his presidential ambition, claiming that northern political associates "caged" him and introduced him to religious extremists who influenced his decisions.
Lawal also expressed concern about Tinubu's health, saying the president should focus on his well-being after completing his current tenure.
The former SGF made the remarks during an interview on Symfoni TV, where he reflected on his long-standing relationship with Tinubu and what he described as a noticeable change in the president's character ahead of the 2023 election.
"I've said it before that Bola Tinubu has two, as I can categorize to my knowledge, two faces of his life," Lawal said.
