July 27 (UPI) -- Two locations of a Jewish-owned Toronto bakery chain were damaged overnight, authorities said Sunday, as the incidents are being investigated by Toronto Police Service's Hate Crime Unit.
The Toronto Police Service said both locations suffered broken windows, but only one appeared to be the result of gunfire.
"At this time, investigators are examining whether the incidents are connected and working to identify those responsible," the Toronto Police Service said in a statement.
"There have been no reported injuries."
Founded in 1979, Kiva's Bagel has three locations in the city.
