Jefferies lowered the firm’s price target on American Airlines (AAL) to $15 from $18 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares following the Q2 report. The company now expects break-even earnings in 2026 as jet fuel has spiked 30% since early July, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says American’s “sensitivity to fuel works in both directions.”
