In Chernihiv, cleanup efforts following the attack carried out by the Russian military on the afternoon of July 26 have been completed; two people were killed and another 25 were injured.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“Work to clean up the aftermath of the shelling in the city has been completed. All fires have been extinguished,” the statement reads.
According to final reports, the Russian attack claimed the lives of two people, including a 9-year-old girl. Another 25 people were injured.
Thirty-nine rescue workers and 12 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service were deployed to clean up the aftermath and extinguish the fires.
