A baby girl is among four people to have been killed in a car crash on a major road in Derby.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports that a red Hyundai had crashed into trees on the A38 after coming off the A516 carriageway at around 11pm on Saturday.
Two women, aged 18 and 30, and a man, aged 36, were declared dead. A baby girl was raced to hospital however she died shortly after she arrived.
All four victims were passengers in the vehicle. The families have been notified of their deaths.
The driver, a 33-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
