A 40-year-old man was found murdered with his throat slit in Sivaganga.Police said Rajini, 40, belonged to Mulaikulam near Sivaganga. He had been staying with his family in the Koothandam area and was engaged in ghee business.He had gone out on Saturday night and did not return home. On early Sunday morning, he was found murdered with his throat slit in the eucalyptus grove near the Annamalai Nagar bypass road.The Sivaganga Taluk police recovered the body and sent it to the Sivaganga Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.Rajini is survived by his wife Saranya and two children. Further, police stated that since there are seven pending cases against Rajini, the murder might have been a result of previous enmity.Meanwhile, condemning the failure to arrest the culprits, Rajini’s relatives staged a road blockade near the Ambedkar statue in Sivaganga.
