Malaysia's Sepang circuit will host a rescheduled Bahrain Grand Prix on October 4, officially named the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia.

The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix were cancelled due to ongoing conflict in the Middle East, disrupting the original 2026 calendar.

Sepang, which debuted as an F1 venue in 1999, is regarded as one of the sport's most iconic and challenging circuits.

The addition of Sepang restores the 2026 championship to a 23-race calendar, with the remainder of the schedule unchanged.
