Inter Miami forward German Berterame is conscious and recovering in hospital after suffering a head collision in Saturday’s MLS game against Montreal, his coach Guillermo Hoyos has said.In the 70th minute at Saputo Stadium, Berterame was involved in an aerial collision with Montreal defender Efrain Morales and landed awkwardly on the pitch, appearing to lose consciousness.
