Ryan Gosling has been confirmed to star in Ghost Rider in a standalone Marvel Cinematic Universe film, set for release in 2028.
Director Shawn Levy, known for Deadpool & Wolverine, will helm the project, reuniting him with Gosling after their collaboration on Star Wars: Starfighter.
Reports indicate Gosling will portray Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who transforms into the Spirit of Vengeance after making a deal with a demon.
David Jonsson will play T'Challa in Black Panther 3, also due in 2028, with filmmaker Ryan Coogler confirming the casting at San Diego Comic-Con.
