Overnight winds have caused wildfires across Spain and France to spread even faster, according to local authorities. Officials in Gironde said that the flames in the region were fed by winds accelerating the fire, after Spanish officials had also warned this could be the case on Saturday. One man has died in a wildfire in Manises, near the Spanish city of Valencia, the ​country's ⁠interior ⁠ministry has said.He was found in a car ⁠in ​a ravine hundreds of kilometres away from the severe wildfires spreading near to the Spanish capital Madrid.Around 300,000 people have been displaced including some 70,000 people evacuated in central Spain.
