In the Lyman sector, operators from the 3rd Border Guard Detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Pikus struck the Russian invaders’ “Murom-M” surveillance complex.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the detachment’s Facebook page, along with the release of a video showing the combat operation.
“Pilots from the ‘STRAЖ’ unit of the ‘Pomsta’ Assault Guard Brigade struck an enemy ‘Murom-M’ complex in the Lyman sector,” the statement reads.

According to military officials, this is a surveillance system equipped with a camera featuring a powerful zoom and a thermal imager, allowing it to monitor personnel at distances of up to 10 km with the optical camera and up to 4 km with the thermal imager. The cost of a single “Murom” is nearly $50,000.
