July 25 (UPI) -- Eight people, believed to be family members, were found dead inside a burning house in Michigan, some of whom had been shot.
Ottawa County, Mich., police and firefighters responded to a residential fire around 11:40 a.m. on Friday and, after putting out the flames, discovered the bodies of two adults and six children inside the house, WZZM-TV and WOOD-TV reported.
Autopsies were expected to be performed on Monday on the two adults, who were in the 40s, and six children, who ranged in age from 5 years old to 15 years old.
The eight people are believed to have lived in the house and are family members.
