Visakhapatnam North MLA and Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association (VDCA) working president P. Vishnu Kumar Raju inaugurated a year-long cricket coaching camp for various age-group categories at the ‘B’ Ground in PM Palem on Saturday (July 25, 2026).Secretary of VDCA, K. Parthasarathy, said this year coaching will be imparted to players in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16, Under-19, Under-23, and Girls Under-15 and above-19 categories. A total of 30 players each have been selected in the Under-10, Under-12, and Under-14 categories, while 28 players each have been selected in the Under-16, Under-19, and Under-23 categories. Separate coaching camps are also being conducted for Girls Under-15 and Above-19. The camps will be held at GVMC Stadium, ‘B’ Ground, PM Palem, and Coromandel Stadium.Mr. Vishnu Kumar Raju lauded the VDCA’s efforts in promoting grassroots cricket and encouraged the young players to make the best use of the coaching facilities, remain disciplined, and strive to represent Andhra Pradesh and India in the future.
