Two international co-productions with Bulgarian participation have been selected for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, according to the festival organizers.
The latest feature by Georgian director Levan Koguashvili, Guria, will make its world premiere in the Spotlight competition section. The film is a Bulgarian co-production involving producer Stefan Kitanov and was created with the support of Bulgaria's National Film Center, according to the National Film Center and production company Art Fest.
A second film with Bulgarian participation will also be screened during the festival, which will take place from September 2 to 12.
Until the Day Ends, a co-production between Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Montenegro, has been selected for the Horizons competition program, the National Film Center said.
Directed by Jelena Maksimović, the film will compete alongside 18 other titles in the Horizons section, one of the festival's competitive programs.
