July 25 (UPI) -- Rick Moranis made a rare public appearance to celebrate his second Star Wars parody, Spaceballs: The New One, at San Diego Comic Con Friday.
Moranis reunited with Daphne Zuniga, his co-star from the original 1987 film, as well as its sequel, for the event.
Also in attendance were New One cast members Keke Palmer and Lewis Pullman, and filmmakers Josh Gad and Josh Greenbaum.
Franchise creator Mel Brooks and original and returning star Bill Pullman both sent video messages that were shown to fans.
