And the star, 52, has now posted one of her most emotional videos to date as she candidly gave an insight into the brutal reality of her life post-diagnosis.‌In the video, a tearful Tracy said that doctors will most likely adjust her chemo treatment to her body. Visibly struggling to get her words out she added that she is "really at a stage where I'm just crying a lot really." She added: "This morning I just realised how invisible we become."‌Her comments come after a string of hospital visits where she is explained that she has been prodded and poked by medical professionals in order to beat the disease.‌She captioned the post saying: "Gratitude and love to you all. Check your breasts and testicles."‌And in the comment section of her post one person wrote: " Sending my love and strength in abundance to you, such a brave and beautiful post xx."And another said: "You really don’t know how many people and Hearts you are touching by your journey and story you are sharing with us all. I would defy anyone who wouldn’t be crying and feeling all over the place and it is a rollercoaster of a journey you are on ."In May, the actress who is best known for her role as Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap took to Instagram and admitted that her first Chemotherapy injection had "wiped me."‌In he video she said: "So yesterday I had my first injection of chemo. It’s one which affects my heart so I have to have my heart checked on a regular basis for scans."With her hair cut short before the treatment fully takes hold, she added: "It really wiped me, I don’t know if it’s because I had to go back into hospital and it’s so hot in there. Why doesn’t the government just look after the guys at the NHS a little bit more and invest a bit more into our hospitals."Tracy continued: "I’m feeling the effects today. I’ve taken my first injection to help my immune system. Basically from tomorrow I can’t really socialise. My immune system will be really low. The other thing is temperatures."‌She then went on to say: "My body is now going to war with that thing in me which doesn’t belong in here."She added a caption that read: "Thank you for all your love and support. Extremely long update unfortunately, but I’m struggling to reply to everyone individually, grab a cuppa and a biscuit or scroll if you’d like."Tracy played Maxine from 1995 until 2003 until TV executives decided to kill her character off. Maxine had been married to Weatherfield's loveable butcher Ashley and the couple shared a child together. Viewers watched as Maxine returned home to check in her son Joshua who was being looked after by Emily Bishop.Article continues belowAs Maxine walked through the front door she is met with serial killer Richard Hillman standing over Emily's dead body.
