The Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies ARMADA, which was involved in organizing the event in the Kyiv region, said that the exact location of the event was not publicly available and was shared only with verified participants after registration and screening.
According to Ukrinform, the association issued a statement regarding the attack.
"On July 24, 2026, representatives of Ukraine's defense industry were affected by a Russian missile strike. Unfortunately, there are fatalities and injuries," the statement said.
The Association expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed and assured that it would do everything possible to assist the victims.
"ARMADA held a closed event – a practical working demonstration of Ukrainian technologies designed to protect critical infrastructure from modern aerial threats, bringing together representatives of Ukraine's defense industry and potential users," the statement said.
