A Billy Bishop airport expansion may once again be dead — depending on which government you ask — but city council says their fight isn’t over just yet.
Toronto’s elected representatives say they want the city’s portion of the island airport land back — a share that was in place thanks to a tripartite agreement that governs the airport, but which Premier Doug Ford usurped earlier this year to introduce jets on the island facility.
