Tributes have been paid to former NFL star and Super Bowl champion Jordan Devey after he died by suicide at the age of 38, leaving behind wife Linsey and four children12:43, 25 Jul 2026Super Bowl champion Jordan Devey has died by suicide at the age of 38, his wife has confirmed in a heartbreaking statement.‌Devey represented the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders during a seven-year career in the NFL.‌Playing as a guard and an offensive tackle, he won the Super Bowl with the Patriots in February 2015 and made 44 appearances in the NFL in total, including 21 as a starter.‌Devey's wife Linsey has confirmed his sad passing in a post on Instagram. "Today would have been our 15th year anniversary," she wrote."We have filled the walls of our homes and hearts with countless memories, joys, struggles, and triumphs."We brought 4 beautiful children into this world that have your eyes, freckles, and compassion. You were our hero and our hearts ache in your absence. We love you. We miss you. And as you said in your last words to me, 'we’ll talk soon.'"‌A fundraising page has been set up for the Devey family and has raised $90,000 (£67,570) from 441 donations at the time of writing.
