Australian pub manager loses liquor licence after patron drinks 21 beverages and collapses outside.
The manager of a pub in Australia has had his license to sell revoked after a patron consumed 21 drinks in five hours and collapsed in the street.
New South Wales state's alcohol licensing said this week the man entered the Gladstone Hotel in Stockton just after midday on March 23, 2024.
He proceeded to drink 19 beers, a shot of tequila and another of Cointreau, growing progressively more intoxicated over the course of the afternoon.
The man was seen "stumbling into furniture" and "being overly friendly with other patrons", before leaving the pub "unable to stand or walk steadily".
