President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied allegations of drug use, based on comments spread by US conservative bloggers and his former press secretary, addressing the claims during an interview in Kyiv with US commentator Laura Loomer. During the interview, Zelensky specifically denied allegations that he used cocaine with French President Emmanuel Macron. Loomer also referenced claims made by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, political activist Candace Owens, and a podcast hosted by Zelensky’s former press secretary, Yuliia Mendel. Zelensky rejected Mendel’s allegations and stated that he does not watch Carlson’s content. “There are different people and different TV presenters, bloggers, and so on. Some of them are good, others are too harsh,” Zelensky said. “But there are smart people and there are unintelligent people. As for me, I watch smart people, and I never watch unintelligent people because it does not help. Therefore, I have not watched Tucker Carlson’s interviews with anyone.” Diplomatic efforts and peace negotiations During the same interview with Loomer, Zelensky discussed the ongoing war, stating he is ready to sign a peace agreement with Russia wherever US President Donald Trump chooses, including at the White House Oval Office or his Mar-a-Lago residence.
