Russia reports a drone attack on the night of Saturday, July 25; a fire broke out in Engels, Saratov region, reportedly at a military base.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
It is noted that a missile and drone alert was issued overnight in the Saratov region. Residents of Engels reported a fire in the city. After examining footage from eyewitnesses, an ASTRA OSINT analyst determined that a building on Engels-1 Street, which is believed to house a military unit, was on fire.
Facilities of the Engels-2 military airfield are located in the immediate vicinity of this building. As a result of a Ukrainian attack on this airfield on July 16, a Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber and missile carrier was struck.
Russian monitoring channels reported last night about the danger posed by UAVs in various regions, including Belgorod, Tambov, Ryazan, Volgograd, and the temporarily occupied Crimea, according to the BBC Russian Service.
