The brand’s non-alcoholic offering revisits the iconic Jamiroquai video 30 years later — with a few twists.

For the second week in a row, we’re revisiting the year 1996. This time with a banger from across the pond courtesy of Beefeater and its agency, Lucky Generals.

Three decades after Jamiroquai released the iconic music video for its global smash hit “Virtual Insanity,” the Pernod Ricard-owned gin brand is bringing it back to remind us that there is still sound, we don’t all live underground, and it now has a non-alcoholic offering to encourage us to “Get more from life.”

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cultural phenomenon, featuring lead singer Jay Kay in an oversized hat mastering some slick moves in a light-filled room with moving floors, the brand (with the help of directing duo Julien & Quentin) recreated the setting and added even more rooms and hats for the metaphorically inclined frontman — who also choreographed the spot — to navigate with aplomb after his glass of Beefeater 0.0 opens more doors for him.
