July 24 (UPI) -- Blade Runner 2099 is coming to Prime Video in November.
The streaming service shared a teaser trailer and Nov. 25 premiere date for the show Friday at San Diego Comic-Con.
Blade Runner 2099 is a new entry in the sci-fi franchise based on the Philip K. Dick novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? The book previously inspired a 1982 film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford, and a 2017 movie directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Ford and Ryan Gosling.
In the Prime Video series, Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) star as Olwen and Cora, a replicant and a human who unexpectedly team up in a future where a replicant uprising has left the bioengineered beings in charge and humans as second-class citizens.
